This Is Usland
Some of the many things I believe in.

I believe that no one person is ever truly on an island.
Even when it feels that way.
I believe that when you find those rare people who make your world go ’round, you hold them tight.
Notice what makes them great.
But never close the door on the strangers who still have something to teach you.
I’ve learned that life is full of uncertainty and disruption.
The best way through is to live the way you see fit—
even when others can’t make any sense of it.
We need real connection with real humans.
Good, bad, indifferent—
that’s how we navigate this life.
It’s easy to miss the past when the future feels foggy.
But I wish more people wanted to do something.
To create.
To help.
Because there is no hiding this life moves fast.
I wish connecting with people wasn’t so feared.
I wish more people believed it really will work out—
even when it feels like everything’s falling apart.
I don’t care if I make mistakes.
That’s what people do.
I don’t care what people think of me.
I’m happy with who I am, and what I choose to do.
Stop comparing.
Start trusting.
Learn to love the parts of yourself you’ve been taught to hide.
More than the parts you wish you could change.
I know now that time doesn’t wait for any of us.
And that certainty is rare.
Maybe impossible.
All I want is for people to live their lives.
To be happy.
To just keep trying their best.
This is for the people who want peace of mind.
Who want to feel free.
Who want to live without feeling trapped.
Don’t get too attached.
Nothing really matters—
and no, the world is not going to end.
In fact, it might be the start of something new.
Very little in this life is definite—
your interests, your opinions, and your way are all subject to change.
Why be so critical when you can be compassionate.
We are doing this for the first time—
and thankfully, so is everyone else.
This is Usland.
